"11 Screen Shots of CPU-intensive route"
"If you look at the train yard image, you'll see a working turntable that I designed. I animated the shipping product's turntable but for now it's limited to stopping on 20 degree fixed points. (So the track will align properly)."Tony

Oct-01-01, 11:31 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Working Turntable..!" I take it that the turntable is still just a static object
As I'm trying to do a route in the early 30's-40's in the UK, I could certainly do with one (even our crummy branch lines had them). If you ever get it to work I'll pour a pint of beer down my moden for you Cheers(as you can tell from the name I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really need doubleslips) Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oct-04-01, 02:44 AM (EST) 10. "RE: Working Turntable..!" Well you guys appear to know about interactive objects, so I'll ask my quesiton here.
I was recently building a route when I came across several interactive objects. Namely a gain loader and a gravel loader, however try as I may, I can't get them to do a thing. Is there anyway to get them working or are they just there as a dropped idea that will never work.I thought it would be kind of neat to design an activity where you would have to fill 20 hopper cars.Cheers,
James. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oct-05-01, 05:36 AM (EST) 11. "RE: Working Turntable..!" I think there must be plans for them at least. The wag file can have a variable intake point, whose type can be set to one of FreightGrain
FreightCoal
FreightGravel
FreightSand
FuelWater
FuelCoal
FuelDiesel
SpecialMailYou can make a working coal tower see the S& C line, but how you specify the others I don't know Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
