Hi, I have made a head-station with a lot of tracks. On these tracks there is are platform indicators (2 green triangles). At the end of the platform there are 2 signals ---------------------------------<|sgnl---sgnl|> end============track================================switches=== ----<|---------platform-------|>When the train arrives on the platform I want to reverse the train to continue the journey backwards. If have made such activity. But when I reverse the train, the signals stay red. How can I change that ? I have some AI traffic on the station as well. Please help Peter
One way to fix the problem is to change the signals from absolute ones to permissive signals.Absolute signals are good to have if there is an interlocking plant near the station. If not the permissive type signals should work well.Try this approach and see what you get. Also have you tried using the "tab" key to get permission from the dispatcher when making the reverse move?
I have used reverse point on the track. Does it make sense where I put them on the track ?I have experience that the train needs the possibility to turn the train. For example: when I test the activity in the activity editor the train refuses to turn when the reverse point is to close the end of the track.I tried to find the "absolute" and "permissive" signals in the guides but I can't find it. What do I have to change ?Thanks Peter
The VCR playback is flawed. The only way to verify a reveres point is to run the activity in the route. For the playback to show the reverse move, the entire train must go by the reverse point if the point is ahead of the train. If behind an backing to the point it is when the end of the train hits it. They only seem to work at the end of the train. to turn the train put the reverse point right after the switch, not at the end of the track. If you f4 and watch when the reverse point dissappears you will understand what I mean.Kevin Arceneaux It is time for Amtrak to become a fallen flag!
Hi, I put the reversepoint after the switch but nothing changes. I see the reversepoint disappearing from the F4 screen. When I reverse the train it is red and it stays red. Even the TAB key did not change anything.I want to change the signal to "absolute" and "permissive" but I don't know how to do that. Any ideas ?Thanks for your help.
