I like to load my activities with frieght cars in sidings and yards. It's more realistic this way. But when I try to create a new consist of just freight cars, I get a weird screen message saying something like I need a player drivable loco. I can create the consist without one, but this consist will not be reckognized by other computers because it doesn't have a player drivable loco, or some other reason. It's fine for my own computer, but if it won't work on others I doubt I'd be able to offer activites for downloads. This may be something simple I'm missing but I just can't get it to work. It must be possible, as the Cajon route and Microsoft Train Sim have consits without locos in certain activites. And in the list of avaliable consists to use, many do not have locos.So what am I doing wrong?Thanks, Matt
Nothing wrong. When you create a consist like that is shows up as a loose consist in the act file. When you package the activity for distribution it does not need the con file.Kevin Arceneaux It is time for Amtrak to become a fallen flag!

The reason for the message is just to let you know that you will not be able to select the cosist from the list when you start train simulator. Because there is no player drivable locomotive, you can only use it in an activity as a static consist or as an AI train. It will package up just fine. I've figured out what I'm doing wrong! It has nothing to do with locos. The other computer I tried it out on didn't have the particular cars I used in the consists. Such a simple fix, isn't it always Thanks for the help though
