Jul-10-01, 07:48 AM (EST) "Conkelly Haul activity problem?" Has anyone played this act and had any problems with the sim finding the NH GP38? I have had this engine on my PC since I got the gameand never had a problem with it. Then I downloaded this act and get an error reading train database NHGP38.eng. I have gone through my eng file and everything is how it should be. Plus I made sure the files were named properly. I dont get it. I'm not sure about downloading anymore activities because of this. I know about 1100 or so people have downloaded this act so I wonder if anymore problems were encountered. I dont like overwriting files so I hope in the future people start renaming files for their activities so this problem doesnt keep happening. Its getting there though. Thanks for any help... other Activities. I performed the same inspection as you did. Next question is how you removed the error message?

Jul-10-01, 03:51 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Conkelly Haul activity problem?" When I get this problem it's usually because the engine folder has a different name that the one that the activity expects. It gets uglier after you've downloaded a reskinned, loco, used a folder naming scheme that you designed to organize your folders logically, created a bunch of consists using your naming scheme, then find a downloaded activity that expects a diffenent name for tha folder. In that case I generally manually edit the offending consist file and fix the bad folder location. It gets even worse if you have downloaded rolling stock that you have changed folder names on you can end up editing a bunch of consists. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
