Jul-04-01, 02:30 PM (EST) "It's the little things that get you" Some very simple problems that shouldn't, but do have me puzzled. Here are they are:1. When I create an activity and attempt to run it, the simulation declares "Activity Complete" after 1 second. 2. When testing certain routes while inside the activity editor, the consist will not proceed beyond certain cross-overs. There is no conflicting traffic. Because of problem #1, I cannot tell how the simulation might be affected.Simple problems with simple answers I'm sure. With appreciation in advance for your help.Darius Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

If you have an event somewhere near where the train starts and the result is the activity ends then that would definitely be the cause.Your second problem is one that I believe is a bug. I experience this a lot!! It usually starts happening when you make the activity a little more complicated by putting some traffic or reverse courses in. Jul-04-01, 05:41 PM (EST) 2. "RE: It's the little things that get you" Very helpful. My scenario calls for a local freight to start from and return to the same yard, though a different nearby track. Thus I have both proximate start and end points as well as a return over the same tracks. I'll change things around a little and see what happens. Thanks Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jul-04-01, 07:03 PM (EST) 3. "RE: It's the little things that get you" OK, tried moving the end point far from the finish point to no avail. There are no activities anywhere near the starting point that would cause this problem to persist.Ideas anyone? Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jul-05-01, 07:51 PM (EST) 4. "RE: It's the little things that get you" Check ALL your activities, and make sure that the Activity Completed (?) result is where you think it is (you should only have one for testing this problem). It is very easy to create an activity that activates immediately and ends the activity. In fact, try changing ALL the Activity Completed results to something else and see if this still happens - if it does, I don't have a clue...Hope this helps,Tom

Jul-06-01, 04:11 PM (EST) 5. "RE: It's the little things that get you" Thanks. All activities are set to "Activity Completed" by default. Much frustration ended and enjoyment commenced!Darius Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
