Looking for information on freight cars

Is there a site to go to that give a description of all the freight cars available in modern railroading. I see they break down into several groups (box cars, tankers, etc). However, within these larger groups are more load requirement cars. I have a pdf file of the default cars in MSTS. Yet, I just wanted to have the extra information for activity building. I will be greatful for any assistance.
