I have the activity tutorial but I see no reference to this. The consists no longer display on the map(purple circles with rectangles)while I am in the activity editor. The consists appear while I am running an activity in MSTS. Is there a special keypad operation in the activity editor that makes the consists display or not display?

RE: Consists Not Displayed in Map of Activity Editor
Lots of people are having this problem. There are a couple of other posts in this forum about it, but no solution yet. I'll try to connect with everyone who is posting this problem when an answer is found.
RE: Consists Not Displayed in Map of Activity Editor
Hi,if you know how to handle the Windows registry editor (regedit) try to delete all entries beginning withAE_in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\1.0\HWRendererTorben
RE: Consists Not Displayed in Map of Activity Editor
I was inflicted with this problem about 2 months ago.Have a check through the forum and you should find the answers I received. But to cut a long story, the problem is with the registry. It is usually as a result of the activity editor crashing. Rather than edit the registry, I saved all my routes, consists and trains etc then reloaded MSTS, then copied them back. All was well. I am told that windows creates a backup of the reg. file and you should be able to revert to this, but only if you have not loaded/changed any programs since the problem occured.Andy K (a small icon of Alco C424 would be here if I knew how)
RE: Consists Not Displayed in Map of Activity Editor
Thanks everyone for your help with this. I deleted the entry in the registry named "AE normal view". Now everything is back to normal. Thanks again!Keith
RE: Consists Not Displayed in Map of Activity Editor
Thank you everyone who responded. I will try what keith73 did. Hopefully that will work. I did not want to do a reinstallation of MSTS unless it was a last resort.
RE: Consists Not Displayed in Map of Activity Editor
You only need to delete the AE_Normal_View value. If you delete the others, you may find that some of the windows move back to their default positions.
