Aug-06-01, 02:45 PM (EST) "Northeast Corridor " I don't think the NE corridor on MSTS is complete until the MARC commuter stations are added in. I used to take the MARC to work in DC from Odenton which is listed in the MSTS Route Map but it isn't in the game. Is there anybody who is trying something like this? Also.. I think the Empire Corridor from NYC to Albany would be a nice route to run. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-06-01, 08:48 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Northeast Corridor " I wondered about that as well. I KNOW for a fact that MARC commuter and SEPTA commuter runs on the route all the time. For a realistic effect, have MARC and SEPTA AI trains running on an activity during the morning rush hour. THAT WOULD BE COOL!!! Althought might cause some computers to crash...hehehehe Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-20-01, 10:33 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Northeast Corridor " Well when it comes to Septa, you have the R7 which Runs Between 30th Street Station and Trenton, as well as the R2 i Believe it is to Wilmington, Plus you have New Jersey Transit which Departs the Ne Corridor at Frankford Juction to Atlanic City Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-21-01, 08:43 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Northeast Corridor " Hey guys,I have done an edit of the NEC that adds all the commuter station stops, and I've created a host of activities that put the commuter trains in the game. I've also fixed and added a lot of other things to make the route more enjoyable; mostly speed limits and signals and that sort of thing. I would love to share it with everybody, but there are two concerns: first, I'm not sure how many (or which) of the files need to be uploaded, and second, because there were changes to the track database, anybody who downloaded the new route would have to also download my revised activities (I have fixed the default MS activities, as well as made my own, to work on the new version of the route). Older activities involving any route between Wilmington and Philadelphia won't work.If anybody has some thoughts about which files to upload, or if you want to "test" my route before I post it for general download, please reply here or to ajp31@columbia.edu. Thanks!Andy Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-22-01, 03:30 PM (EST) 8. "RE: Northeast Corridor " Hey Andy,I'm doing a revamp of the NEC also. I'm adding all the SEPTA and MARC stations between DC and Philly as well as several other general route revisions. I will be removing the 1/2 mile markers as they don't exist on the route as well as relocating the reduced speed zones to thier proper places. For the SEPTA trains I've been using the default Jap 2000 consist and the MBTA E-60 consist (I'm from Boston) for the MARC trains.I'd like to try your beta NEC route and I'll send you mine if you want (when I'm finished). BTW do you have any SEPTA/MARC equipment yet ? Let me know.Bill Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-22-01, 03:39 PM (EST) 9. "RE: Northeast Corridor " Bill,If you drop me an email (ajp31@columbia.edu) we can compare notes on our revisions for the NEC. We could also arrange to test each other's routes; I'd love to see what you've done--see if I really know what I'm doing or not! Thanks,
