Hey Jim,I've been looking over the route this morning and have to say you have done a good job on recreating the railroads of western Missouri, even without dems. So far, the game hasn't crashed yet. There are a few things I noticed while in the RE you may already know about but I'll post about it anyway.1) Theres a lot of sections of track (too many to list) where the terrain hasn't been formed yet. A presume you left them out for a reason?2) The loop at the MO Powerplant has a missing track section on the northwest side.3) The grade up to the Sibley bridge on both sides seems a bit tougher than it actually is. I'll have to dig up the 1995 profiles and see what the grade is.4) Don't you need to include the consist files for the activities to work? I removed all three activities since I didn't want the sim to crash for any reason. Those are the only few things I have noticed that could be changed. I'm sure there are more that I noticed but forgot about or didn't notice all together. Anyway, great job on the line and I can't wait to see future releases of the line. BTW, could I talk you into including the Joint Agency Yard (KCS & MILW) in a future release? KNOWN ISSUES (as of 6/23/03)* Route will not display in M$TS start-up list. FIX: Use Activity Editor and create a route path. Beta Release 0.2 will correct this issue. In addition, some scenery, buildings, and signal bridges are being added (no working signals yet, though!). Kansas City Terminal trackage has been extended west well beyond Sheffield Tower (Tower 8) as a result of several requests. Future releases will extend the terminal division west to Santa Fe Junction and the east approaches to Argentine Yard. I do not plan to pursue building the yard, however.* Terrain issues. This is a problem with RE. I've corrected several track grades already. They seem to crop up from time to time...* Loop at MoPub (Sibley). I intentionally left out this section to avoid the dreaded "circular track" issues. Final release versions will have the loop complete but I can't effect a track database rebuild (a routine part of the building process) if that track is connected.* The Sibley grade IS laid according to the Official ATSF track profile. Relative heights seem to be close to accurately representing the lay of the land.* The consist files should be in the route. It's the equipment that I don't include...(issues relating to fair use, copyright, etc.)JBD
