The route upgrade of Albula Line 2 to 2.1 has been uploaded to the Train-Sim.com library, together with a matched set of rolling stock of the Rhaetische Bahn, which is required to run the route's activities. Look for the two files MValb21.zip and RhBpack2.zip, or search for Vone; requires installation of version 2 (files MValb2.zip and RhBpack.zip).Please visit http://avsim.com/hangar/utils/mvchallenges/mstsalbula21/MSTS-Albula21.html for more details, screenshots and credits. This route, co-authored with Joachim Zander, simulates a 40km section of the real-life Albula Line and a 10km section of a branch line. The upgrade from Version 2 to 2.1 adds: photoreal station buildings, older-style gantries, 16 new pieces of rolling stock, 4 new activities, 12 new types of water, changed snow terrain textures, cows and people that disappear in some seasons and weather, and many other details. No additional tracks were laid or developed. Now, almost 60 authentic locomotives, passenger and freight cars are available in two separate download files, and are required to run the 24 activities of this route, which last from about 15 minutes to 2 hours. The new additions include a highly detailed G4/5 steam engine with tender (by MadMike), switchers (electric and Diesel), repaints of Ge III 4/4 electric locomotives, modern and old-time passenger wagons with passenger views, and maintenance-of-way wagons.

RE: Albula Line rolling stock available

Many thanks to Sjoerd for providing yet more rolling stock for RhB, and Albula Line in particular. For those who may not know, Sjoerd has already contributed many pieces of rolling stock to the packages RhBpack.zip and RhBpack2.zip, and these new ones complement the previous ones very well, improving the quality as he goes.
