Hi All,
I guess this question has been asked before.
I have been running trains on MSTS for the last three months and have come fairly proficent using the simple operations. My main objective in using this program is to construct a heritage railway which closed in 1939. It is about 15 miles long, 2ft gauge and is in extremely rugged country and uses a Shay as motive power. Fortunately I have all the track layout and topographical plans but have one major problem, I don't have the faintest idea where to start!!.
Where do I find manuals/books/whatever that will give me the necessary information/training so I can make a start? A pointer in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks

charles

RE: New user seeks help

Hi Charles:The Route Builder's guide (Step by Step Guide to Route Building for MSTS)is essential, and probably all you need. This forum has been very helpful to me, but I would have never been able to lay the first track properly without the Guide.Happy Route-building!Mark
