Aug-03-01, 09:43 AM (EST) "New Signal Configuration" Hi folks! If somebody is interestet in new signal configuration, I have edited the japanese signals: the four-light signals are now the distant signals for the three-light signals. I could upload the files, but some of you should give me a feedback, wheather s/o need the files or not...Bye for now! Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I was wondering if you could put a quickie on how to put signals in on our routes. I haven't even tried yet but I really would like to get that part going on my route. Any help be appreciated. Aug-04-01, 06:15 AM (EST) 2. "RE: New Signal Configuration" Hi ragmop!I'm just a little bit experienced in editing the sigcfg.dat and sigscr.dat, so that I can give them new aspects and define distance signals for example. The problem is that I don't have a clue what files EXACTLY have to be copied in the folders of the new route. I'm trying to put the edited japanese signals on my own test-route, but I copy nearly ALL files from JAPAN1 folder into my new route, so I get ALL object files. Is anybody there who knows EXACTLY which files from JAPAN1 folder are needed? Thanks in advance for that!
And ragmop, I'll be pleased to write a "how to"-file, especially how to edit the signal configuration files.BTW, anyone there who can create NEW signals with 3D Studio Max??? I could give him some pics and write the .dat files for him!Bye! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

The following link gives a good examples of how a signaling system works.
