Aug-02-01, 08:37 AM (EST) "Got an error I can't resolve" Since combining objects and using Jim's new .ref file, I've come up with an error that I can't resolve. I planted a tree and got; "missing combined object tree11.s" Treell.s is in my shape directory and tree11.ace is in the texture directory. Funny thing is, when I hit yes on the error, the tree shows up, but then causes a crash to desktop when running a train in the area. Also, have a case where the mile marker got deleted during a track database rebuild, but the number still shows up in the train window(forget the correct name) when driving a train. Went looking in the files but can't figure out how things are stored. Anyone have this deciphered for level crossings and speed post?ThanksDavid Klemm

You may want to check that on your computer it is tree11.s (tree eleven dot ess).Lawrence Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-02-01, 10:20 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Got an error I can't resolve" An update to that Combined Objects archive is completed. I will post the URL shortly. This one adds many things. THe object count is at 1,876. I used the "manual switch lever" to remind myself where the switches were that I had control over. Also - I will post information about placing your own images on billboard objects. I tested this today and had some fun with a musician friend of mine.Used a digital camera for the image. Scaled it and applied it to the JP1AdvertBoard.ace halves. The picture on the billboard near one rail station shows him playing my Stratocaster.
