Is there a limit to the number of object class's that the route editor can display. Added item with class name of "Cement plant" but it doesn't show up under object class in the object selector.

No limit that I am aware of. Check your .ref entry and make sure all the required parentheses are there. For every open paren there must be a matching closing paren. Also, if there is a space in the class name, make sure it is enclosed in quotes. If not, it will only pick up the first word of the class name. The same is true for description. Cal Rasmussen
