At world title -12533 14774 I have encountered a track data base problem. I observed two tracks one overlapping another in trying to correct the problem I recieve the message " adjactent track pieces not loaded ..." another message in the same area refers to end_end_ nonvector ..... needs to be removed. I need to find a way to remove the track and then I can replace it. Help!!!!!! I have reloaded the route main times and the error can be seen in the orginial.
This could be really touchy if it's a completed route. with signals, platforms, mileposts, et al. But this might work. Back up or move the tdb, tit, rit, rdb, to another folder. With the tdb out of the way, you should be able to replace one or both( if necessary) of the overlapping tracks. If the overlap is only slight you will have to use dynamic track. Once you've got the overlap corrected. Save. Close down the the route editor. Delete the newly created tdb from the route folder( as a result of placing this new track a very small tdb should be created @1kb). Reopen the RE, select the route and in the advanced button select rebuild the tdb. If it runs until you get the all tiles visited message. you should have an all new tdb, rit, tit & rdb. Open the route once again and check for blue poles( if any they usually crop up at Dymamic track joints). If there are some, usually selecting and unselecting the dyn track sec will most times reset it. Or you might have to change the length by one click and bring it back to the original length. Save the changes as prompted and you should have resolved the problem.
I have to bring that up again!1) This was a HELPFUL trick. Worked out perfectly.2) I have the same problem with two road-sections. Will it make sense to apply the same method with the corrupted road-pieces? Wich files are responsible for the roads database? Is it the .rdb??Waiting for your (detailed) advice:Woelferl
Yes the same procedure will work to correct roadways as they are considered track objects by MSTS. You are right. It is the rdb this time that you're trying to correct. But be careful So FIRST BACKUP THE TDB. The RE will have to also run a complete rebuild of the tdb to correct errors in the rdb. If I follow the process correctly . When the RE is in rebuild mode it first searches for all RR track. The second pass it searches and adds road sections(rdb), third pass Track items( any interactive objects related to Track, The next pass it searches out Interactive objects related to road system, and the final pass Sound. All of these are some how linked with the tdb and if errors continue to crop up it creates unstable hot spots within the tiles where the error exists and makes it a real pain in the *** to resolve, or make changes.
Hey,thanks a lot. So I will proceed to eliminate the last damages that occured when I started to continue working on my route. When done I'm ready for takeoff!!Woelferl
