Was wondering if there was a way to have an 8 lane road in a route. I am successful in doing this by placing 4 lane roads side by side on straights but this does not work on curves as the road pieces either lap over each other or gaps appear between the 4 lane pieces.Any advice would be appreciated as this is slowing down my route buildingThanks in advance

RE: 8 lane highway

I found a workaround to my problem so construction of my route is back on track.Your road pieces look great. I am sure a lot of people will be waiting for the update to the tsection file.

Have you fixed the default roads? The curves are higher than the 100, 10 etc. straights, so there's ugly gaps in the roads. And cars look extremely bad when they jump over the gap.

RE: 8 lane highway

EnocellI have corrected the height difference on my own computer (along with the Improved Roads from the library). David Beach (standard tsection.dat) has suggested that existing roads should not be touched as that would/could interfere with existing routes - I do agree with this. I haven't had any problem yet with changing the height but that doesn't mean that there isn't any.All of the new road sections that I have are set to the height of 0.1m (the height if the MS/KUJU Road2l*).If you want a set of the US1 roads that I have changed then email me and I can send you a set to try out (no guarantees - see above ).
