Vince please My route is an add on to Marias3, for the last 18 months Ive been extending this route, starting at colombia falls, as whitefish had to be relocated to its correct place, I am now between Troy and Bonners ferry, Im useing X tracks and rusty rails and I have put EVERY thing in as I go, signals ,trees ,water , other scenary things and static railcars in spurs, at the beginning I had a few crashes, I soon found out that DTs and X tracks are not happy shaking hands, since then I'm happy in playing trains as well as building this track, I do save on a second HD as well as burn. Ive been following the forum and note what cannot be done, but Im still going and having close to 6 hours driving, the thing is why have I not crashed yet or is it having a stable driver on the computer or is it because Im thick in the head and slow at the young age of 68, I thank you and all the other guys who have made this forum a success Frank the Sandgroper
Dynamic tracks and Xtracks cohabitate just fine if you Horace the route. You did Horace it didn't you?Cal Rasmussen Beaverton, OR cal.rasmussen@verizon.netColumbia Gorge Route (Phase 1 track completed. Taking a TSM break!)
Cal At the time, no I didnt use Horace, but have done so now, the problem I had at the time was that Microsoft had put whitefish about 6 miles off the marker, when I found it, there was the ramps for the bridge and sound markers put by microsoft, they also put whitefish 10 meters under the water level of the lake, < the mind boggles>,I did have trouble with there telegraph poles, they put them in the middle of the yard, so I have a siding missing in the yard, it looks OK, so all the DTs that I have left underground can be removed with Horace, if that is so it will remove a lot of track of the data, about 40 pieces I think, again thats for every thingFrank the Sandgroper
