There are two common reasons for problems with logging in and posting messages. The first is that you are running a firewall that prevents your messages from being sent to the server. The other is that you have cookies disabled; the DCForum software requires cookies to work properly.
Not too terribly long ago, in a fairly recent thread, you had made mention of a utility to assist in creating the elevation maps for the detail screens when a route is loading (the information ace's that go into the routes root folder). Do you happen to know what the utlity might be called? I have been searching the file area(s) here and to no avail. Thanks in Advance! Mark
Sorry, but it wasn't me. However, there are some tutorials at the following site that might be of help: http://www.railpage.org.au/steam4me/trainsim/tutorials/index.htmlCal Rasmussen Beaverton, ORColumbia Gorge Route (Phase 1 track about 80% complete. Scenery about 5%)
I have just finished making a tutorial that deals with this topic. It uses Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint (both in Microsoft Office suites) and you need a graphics program like PaintShopPro. Because of firewall restrictions I could not upload the zip to the file library directly but sent it to Nels. Hopefully if he got it OK it should appear online within a few days. Let me know what you think.David Phillips aka Calembeena
