As promised, here's some pics of "generic" type general stores that would be appropriate for most any Ozark, Appalachian, Allegheny, or route in based in the south. Such stores were EVERYWHERE in the rural areas mentioned. Many of these lasted into the 70's, and one of them is STILL a general store in a remote mountain town in Arkansas! (Pic 1.)Note: The stores in pics 2 and 3 did NOT have gas pumps. All the rest did. If you do any of these, obviously, the old/abandoned ones would need to be in better repair and all would need the ubiquitous "Coca-Cola/Pepsi/RC Cola/etc" signs plastered here and there.General stores 1-4 are on the Ft. Smith Sub route that is being built for MSTS. Note that pic number 4 is actually a row of small stores! Cool.I can help with any photos you need for texture purposes or otherwise.
