Well lets see....Still have about 28 mileposts to set between Fisher River and Rock Creek.Sidings and spurs to name, plus a little more detailing to the Champion Lumber area in Libby is needed.Sidings and spurs to name in Sandpoint. Additional to detailing to the Union Pacific, Montana Rail Link, and POVA track areas. BNSF trackage is complete though. Lake Pend Oreille bridge could use a little more work.An industry that exists on the west side of the Whitefish River Bridge needs to be investigated and modeled.I'm still looking to get Demex and see if I can add some distant mountain terrain.I've also been removing single trees and replacing them with forest objects in areas where frame rates are low.I have'nt as yet contacted Chuck Dollins so as to ascertain his thoughts about a possible release, but leave me an address in my mailbox and I'll see if I can send you a beta copy on cd at some point in the future. If you're interested, I posted some screens of the route over in the screenshot forum:http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID15/79.htmlhttp://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID15/51.htmlHappy Tracks,Batt
Hi Batt Im also doing the Whitefish to Sandpoint, but as a completly new one, done with Demex and Airial Photo's, as its an add-on to the Mirias pass I had to realigne Whitefish to its proper place, Im as far a Stryker so its a long way off,if ever, heres a picture of the Gravel Pits as it is called,I hope the pix comes through. Frank in AU
Frank,Thanks for the pic, I've also been using the Terraserver photos. Do you know what kind activity goes on at the "Gravel Pits"? Looks like a lot of buildings there along the spur, so I wondered if it was something beyond just loading gravel. Batt
Don't know Ed,Hard to say, though it looks like some largish warehouses there. There's nothing about it that I could see in the Kootenai River Sub timetables either. Wish there some trainsimmer folks here from around the Flathead Valley area so as to set me straight on it.Batt
Kase,Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it.This also gives me ideas that make for a good short activity(s) for the route(moving empty I-beams from Whitefish Yard to switch out with loaded ones at that Idaho Timber spur).Again, many thanks. Wanna beta-test?Batt
I am happy to help you. I like to search for Industry in the net for the Msts routes. Beta Test ? why not if you can sent me your files I will say you which Industry Spur is correct or not Kase
