I am building the cajon pass and I have some questions. Are there any statons along the route if so where could I download them? I also need yard ofices and help with the terrain(building the mountains, tiles to use, and what types of plants)thanks in advance!!! Bigrig.
First, you have been beaten to it by the most excellent payware route from 3DTS (Thanks, John, it's great). Second, there is another active member here who has been working for months on a freeware version with some added branch lines (looking forward to Hobart's hard work). Third, why on earth would you want to start a route that's been professionally done and is available for $35, and which will likely be available soon as freeware? My suggestion...pick a lesser known route that you know well and try that. If you are from Sou. Calif., may I suggest SP West Colton to Indio---would love to attack Beaumont Hill.
Not everyone creates a route for sharing. The original poster may have a particular reason for creating Cajon pass, regardless of anyone else's published work or work in progress.Lawrence
More power to ya. I can help out with a few stations. San Bernardino is under construction at the moment. Also made all the ATSF style station signs from LA to Barstow. I've been working on this monstrocity for damn near a year and it still aint but 70% done. I'm glad I built my own tho, there's a lot of railroad between LA and San Bernardino.
