RE: OkrasaGhia, Are you taking requests for new track p

Ahmm da yeah I'm listening when people ask for different track sections though I make no promises whether I do it or when it's released.
Your request is noted.
I take it next up are a2t750r*d, a3t750r*d & a4t750r*d?
And then curved switches to match those a2t750r*d. And after that ...

I have been using the 3dEndPoint to nudge the track when 5d, 10, and 20d don't fit well. That was the reason behind the 1d and 2d request. I also like to keep as close to the prototypical route as possible. Whereas the 250, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 4000, 8000 are all nice and I can easily work within them, a 750 set would also be very nice. However, I think that the 1d and 2d are the most important to fill in a hole that currently exists. Thanks for considering this. Lawrence

Sounds like a great idea to me! Okrasa, I want to thank you for your excellent work in this project. I don't know why I waited so long to install it. Xtracks has made laying track on the Columbia Gorge so much easier. It has cut down on the need for dymanic tracks (@$#?!!**) by about 90%. I still need to put in an occasional "filler" piece. Thanks again and keep up the good work.Cal Rasmussen

Or,If that's too much like work 2.5 degree versions would be very helpful. Hey Lawrence,I thought you said recently that with the existing Xtracks only us nanometer types would need anything else . Ya joining the club or somethin'?Richard

>Richard I stand (or is it sit) chastened! Well, I did have to break down and use dynamic ::shudder:: track a couple of times in the last day or two. That is only because I am "beta testing" some software that integrates DEM data and DEM-like data from several sources. Therefore, I am re-laying track.I am finding that markers created via this new process to be extremely accurate to the Dem-ex created terrain, extremely accurate. You can almost visualize the trackbed! So, this has brought me into the nanometer club, if you please.Oh, with this new process, your markers for tracks, roads, rivers, buildings, anything you want, are equally accurate. It has increased the accuracy of "prototypical" routes 100 fold. Lawrenceps. The natural questions are what is it and when will it be released. Answer to first question, I'm not saying. When the author wants to announce it, it will be announced. Answer to second question, when it's ready. lrk

RE: OkrasaGhia, Are you taking requests for new track p

Okay, I'll have it in mind.
One thing, the a1t500r1d & a1t500r2d IS available in XTracks 3.3!
My misstake not listing it in the documentation (though the narrow gaúge versions are in).

RE: OkrasaGhia, Are you taking requests for new track p

Strange, I know I made them but I'll check it when I get back home.
Or was that only the narrow gauge versions cause there's no narrow gauge dynamic? Could be, difficult to remember each and every section availabl in XTracks these days.
