By popular demand..here's downtown Springfield, Ill. between Jackson street and Madison Street. It's "The Limited" pulling into and away from the depot...take a look:
Stunning. Simply stunning. What cutting edge engine creators are doing for locomotives, you sir, are doing for route realism. I can only hope that "someday" I can create a virtual world that only begins to capture the "railroady" aura as much as your virtual modeling is. Shame about the FPS. Andre "Coonskin" Ming
Amazing work Paul! I'm still trying to get that new computer of mine working right so I can see what it does on frame rates. Tested MSTS last night and loadup was 10 times faster than before, also frame rates up using the Florida Funnel route. Still a lot of tweaking to go. Meanwhile, your work's going to set a new standard for realism on this sim! Looking forward to downloading this.
Thanks for posting the shots Paul, All I can say is it looks simply amazing. Take your time and keep working like you are and I can guarantee no one will be disappointed. Thanks again- Jae
Paul:These are really, really great. Thanks for sharing. I'm still beginning the scenery, and you're really leading by setting an example.Mark A Southern Railway Fan
