RE: HELP WITH DEM DEMZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this site for USA DEMs : http://www.gisdatadepot.com/catalog/index.html
There are a couple others that you can get them at however. Afraid I can not help you out on TSTools, I could not figure it all out myself. I use DEMEX (http://www.dem-ex.com/) for merging the Dems with my route tiles. Works great and easy to do. Still haven't figured out markers however, every program I try, I can not get it to work right, so I do it the old fashion way, just enter them in the marker file by hand.Roger

Hi,Importing SDTS DEMS into TsTools is a three step procedure, using the three options from the Terraform menu. Import the dems first, then generate altitude data (this creates a single dem from all selected imported sources) and finally select Terraform to create the output in the tiles.Drop us a line on support@ts-tools.com if you have any problems or questions on this.RegardsDave Charles
