Check this site out..It has EXTREMELY high quality vehicle models; several hundred polys each; in a wide range of formats...The models range from snowmobiles to pleasure cruiseships!
It will cost you some $$$ to get your hands on even one model, but I think it's worth it...

And I noticed a while ago people were talking about putting airports and military bases in their routes (heck, even you FlightSim buffs could use some of this stuff)...http://www.amazing3d.com/services/aircraft1.html
Gee, how bout some buildings too? http://www.amazing3d.com/services/arch1.html--------------------------

Well, since were on the topic of 3d models

I did this one about 4 months ago.....can you guess what it is? it's around 70,000-80,000 polys and is 99 megs when in .dwg format.
NOT INTENDED FOR MSTS USE!!!!!!...just to let you know...any of my autocad models are not intended for MSTS use...but i thoroughly enjoy 3d modeling. too bad none of my stuff can be incorporated for msts use though. the sim would go FZZZZZT! if you tried to even load it in! btw....i'd give this away for free to friends....corporations on the other hand $1000 minimum....no joke....not for the month of labor i put into it........and long nights.....and times when i want to kill the machine.......we can ALL relate to that Need traffic in your routes? – image 5

Hmm..Now that you mentioned it, I downloaded a starship in .LWO format from another site and loaded it into a modelling program; crashed it right off...Hmm..That's a nice Golden Gate Bridge you got there Read somewhere in early 2001 George Carlin had an article printed, going on and on that there were NO bombs that terrorists were going to bring on the airlines, and that airport security was pointless..(then went on to joke that you could bring a butcher knife, a broken whiskey bottle, a hatchet, a straight razor, a chainsaw, and six knitting needles as carryon luggage and the only thing they'd tell you is the bag/suitcase had to fit all the way under the seat in front of you ) --------------------------
