That's very sharp Gary! All along the GM&O..those stations were everywhere!..My cousin owned one in Vandalia, MO on the GM&O... Thanks a bunch Gary..I'm really looking forward to that!..P.
Now we need someone to make up a set of the life sized, fiberglass dinosaurs the company would send around to these stations as a promo gimmick!I think I'll do some research and see what a gas station looked like back in 1904 and try to create a model, (After all, the Doctor in Osprey Lake has to get the fuel for his horseless carriage somewhere!)Now we need some other early gas stations, like the Esso, with its Tiger mascot, a sunoco, and of course a Mobil with the winged horse logo.Don

At first I thought this had something to do with Emma but that aint no Stegosaurus. I have some ideas if you need help with the flashing logo, could be solved the same way I made my lighthouse.
Paul When you asked for some stations along Rt 66 this was the first one I thought of since one of the orginal stations of this design still stands nearby(it's been a hot dog joint for the last 25 years or so and is missing the roof fin) when I saw a photo of the Sinclair logo AHEAD sign I figured that would also work for your needs as well(though it should be placed a bit further away from the station) and I've got a few other prototypes to work on once this is done. Okrasa I appreciate the offer of help but the sign isn't supposed to be flashing, it's flashing blue so apparently I have an untextured surface that MSTS doesn't like some where. But thanks for the offer
