I'm continuing to have difficulties with trying to repair the troubled CTSRR patch. I've gotten myself into a situation that I have not been able to figure out, even with the advice posted a couple of days ago.I'm consistently getting the "end_end_vector" message of death at the same point during a track database rebuild. I have not been able to find any rogue blue poles in this area, and I haven't found any undeletable track sections. I've tried to replace the world file with one from an earlier version, without any change in the end result. I've also done a clean install of MSTS (w/o XTracks) on a separate machine and tried loading in the backed up route that I had prior to the patch, and prior to v. 1.1. In all cases, I get the same result. It seems that this problem existed well before I installed XTracks, and may be present in both versions 1.0 and 1.1 that have been posted. I'd say it doesn't create any problems if a track database rebuild isn't attempted, but in my latest efforts to fix this on the clean install, the RE crashes as I enter the problem tile. If I have a corrupt world file, how do I fix it up manually, and what should I be looking for in the file to suggest a corrupted file? Sure, it may be a corrupt world out there, but I'd like to think my TS world is a bit more idealistic Any suggestions are, as usual, greatly appreciated.Andy

RE: CTSRR Problems - .tdb & world files

An update - I think I've found the track section that is giving me problems. I've been able to replace it and rebuild the track database on an earlier version of the route, but that leaves me without much of the work on terrain textures and other changes that were in the latest version.Unfortunately, I can't edit the offending section in the version 1.1, because I get the send/no send message as I try to jump to that location. I know where the descriptor in the specific world file is. Can I change that descriptor to refer to a standard track section rather than the existing dynamic track section?Andy
