Is anyone working on a detailed New York City subway route or is one already in existence? Such a route would contain specific station signs (including name of stop, exit and line letters and numbers like N or 1), advertising panels, benches, and wall tiles. In addition, the elevated above ground route would have some landmarks, like important Manhattan skyscrapers, apartment buildings in Queens, and Shea or Yankee Stadiums. A fantasy or a reality? I have seen some screenshots of well-designed routes, but I haven't been able to download them because the one website that has such routes (MSTS Transit Authority) is unavailable while it is being updated. I'm eagerly awaiting the site's revival. I would love to have such a detailed route or someday design one myself because of my passion for subway systems, especially those from New York's M-T-A. It would also be nice to see some details that make the route resemble New York City.
