RE: Illionois Central Route

Paul; You keep getting these grand ideas! Remember, the GM&O route is going to be a nice branch line to the IC route when it is added!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-26-02 AT 08:50 AM (EDT)

...funny Sam....."BEHOLD...THE POWER OF CN""CN...the next UP of North America"..BTW..I've incorporated a program into my route. As you can see there is no orange anywhere on my route. If anyone tries to run anything orange on it..it will crash the sim...that way there can be no IC on my route..LOL.

RE: Illionois Central Route

Sam is correct. Of the 40 miles between Decatur and Mattoon, I've got 20 done. I'm in the town of Bethany right now. 2 nights ago I wrapped up all the street laying and now it is time to put the structures in. With fresh downloads of the 1950 homes, McDonalds and like, I'm ready to go. Thing is I'm away from my PC until Sunday! As for timing, it depends on when Trouble says he is ready to start work on the southern section. I'll stop then or when I get to Mattoon, which ever comes first. I'm also getting lessons on signaling and hope to get a few placed as experiments before the update as well!

RE: Illionois Central Route

Yes David..and I'm "tel-neted" into your PC as we speak and changing all the names of your towns to names like "Roodhouse", "Bloomington"
The Pana sub is now part of the Springfield GM&O district. Thanks for your hard work for me David...your IC route sure looks good with all the GM&O F units on it.

>when I get to Mattoon, which ever comes first. . .Hopefully I'll have my DSL and other stuff connected at my new house in a couple of days We had to get our phone number changed again, after receiving about 25 automated faxes from a trucking company every five minutes starting at 5:30 a.m. every morning. That sucked.I also have to finish up some immediate projects around the house, like installing extra phone and satellite jacks, running wires, etc. . . which I'm going to try to get done this weekend (my girlfriend is pushing me to hurry up and get the satellite and phone jacks installed in the living room, so the deadline of this weekend is pretty firm ). After that, I'll be able to start on the scenery again Don't forget I now have a digicam for fast development of real textures! Exciting. . .

RE: Illionois Central Route

Well it sounds like the next update will be soon with Trouble being close to beginning work on the next update. I will get Bethany done and a few small other things and then get on with a package followed a few days later with a route riter version for first time downloaders.
