Sice the switchstands are on the way thought maybe I'd tease you all with some other projects nearing release.
The concrete bridge is sectional for a 2 lane just select an end section and drop mid sections(10',20',40')till you've got the lengnth you want, slap on the far end section, piers & zebra signs and you're ready to roll for 4 lanes there are seperate deck and rail sections so you can custom fit a bridge for a particular locale. both 2 & 4 lanes can cross anything from a ten foot dry wash to a river as big as you want.
the last 2 are some new track bumpers, simple crossed ties and a big ol steel jobber(still want to work on some car stops though)

RE: Anyone Interested in these new toys?

ABSOLUTELY!!That wonderful looking bridge needs to be used in several places on the Ft. Smith Sub... and the end of track stops look much more realistic than the default supplied stuff. Are you doing these in small textures? From Paul Fowler's (and others) experiences... the large textures (1024 x 1024 x 24 bit) are a bit much for most end user's machines. Thanks for that great looking stuff.Andre "Can't Wait To Learn Route Building/Detailing" Ming

I'm not sure if it's the hitting the bumper or MSTS thinking you've run off the track, I've actually phased through bumpers and reversed away in some case.

>I'm not sure if it's the hitting the bumper or MSTS thinking you've run off the track, I've actually phased through bumpers and reversed away in some case.Definitely some weird bug in the sim. What I've done is pulled into Washington Union Station, carefully inched forward until my coupler tapped the bumper, then stopped fully. I then set full train brakes and full locomotive brakes...then randomly decided to open the throttle all the way. Initially the train strained against the bumper, then bounced back and inched forward again, and then, like the opposite of a rubber ball, the bounces got bigger and suddenly the train was accelerating in reverse...despite being in forward with all brakes fully on. It got up past 40 mph and was barrelling out of the station before I finally said "This is too weird" and stopped it. That's the most nonsensical thing I've had MSTS do to me so far.Alex StroshaneAnyone Interested in these new toys? – image 7

Seeing that nice rusty old track buffer/bumper brings to mind a question. Is there a way to prevent a crash/derailment when the buffer is hit at low speed such as under 2 mph. The couplers should be able to handle the impact.

They are scenery don't know enough to go messing with track dat files yet
but there is an ok in the readme if Okrasa wants to toss em in on the next X tracks.
BTW I just ironed out the bugs and finished UL ing the bumpers and the bridge so all three(including the switch stands) should show up in library in a day or two

RE: Anyone Interested in these new toys?

You don't need to mess up with track, just make it 10m long with track and make it as a replacement for the old buffer (A1tBuffer.s or A1tUSBuffer.s). With the same name you can just put in to global/shapes and all routes will use it.
