What in your opinion makes good Tertex? Are they the ones that don't catch your eye and draw you to the scenery... Or do you prefer the custom ones that include colors and blotches that make you understand that your where you should be? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanx (Wp713)
Hey WP, I like the colorful ones myself,I have uploaded a few. Great eye-candy but alas large file size as well. I did a test on 400 hundred tiles and found no difference in frame rate 30fps in both cases,no change,so that part is cool. However, it does balloon up your route size so use with caution. I mostly just play around create scenes and take pics so size doesn't matter to me. Take care.L8r,JMan
Hi again WPI just discovered why my Terrtex files were so huge. They were not properly compressed.Hehe, dumb newbie goof.So I guess you can get the eye candy at no extra cost. If any of you who have downloaded them are reading this the updated files should be up in a few days and they are the same size as the default kujo ones 171kb,or you could compress them yourself with TGATool2 in just a few clicks. I love having new textures to play with. The file names are a_rock1.zip,a_falls1.zip,a_pit1.zip and a_crop1.zipl8r,JMan
