Hi I am new to the whole route building thing and was going to attempt to build the old BN Harbor Line Subdivision (now RailAmerica) that runs between Aberdeen, WA and Bremerton, WA.Was wondering if anyone has or knows where I can get some elevation profiles of the line.thanks for any help you can provide me Bill
To be perfectly honest, it wasn't until last night that I found out Timetables have profile data in them. My dad has a bunch of old SP timetables from the 70's and sure enough...I looked in the back and there they were. Hope this helps! (Wp713)
I know that timetables have profiles in them...i know a site with several BNSF timetables in them but they are all for 2001 and onword and since the BNSF does not own the line anymore i am at a loss where to find a time table for the route i am trying to do..but i will keep looking..thanks for the help Bill
I would just write the company and ask if they have, and would give you a copy of the profiles. Offer to pay the postage, but most railroads if they will allow you to have this data at all, will send it as a courtesy. Since there are more railfans than you realize running railroads, especially shortlines, you might also offer to send a copy of your finished product on CD to them.J. H. Sullivan, P.E.
