Dynamic Track - can't reverse the turn direction

Have been studying Abacus Guide to Route Building, and building its tutorial route, following all of the instructions to the letter. Added the first dynamic track section, which goes to the left, without any problems. The next step is to add a second dynamic track section, pressing "T" at the correct time to reverse its direction to a right turn. NOTHING HAPPENS. Have tried other variations as to the order of steps, with no luck, as I would expect. This has to be so simple to do, but it doesn't work. HOW DO I REVERSE THE TURN DIRECTION?

afterplacing the dynamic tracksection, click on the deselect button, or hit f2, then hit "T"

A word of caution is advisable here. When you use the "T" key to "flip" dynamic track, it doesn't flip it left to right. If flips it end-to-end. Also you cannot directly curve dynamic track to the right. Generally, when I need a dynamic section to curve right, I move to where the far end needs to connect and work back.

Cal,Yes, I was aware of those things, and thanks for replying. An interesting idea on starting at the destination end and working back. The Guide to Route Building talks about how you need to set it up on a left curve and then reverse it with T, and then bring it back to left to make adjustments. Your idea sounds like something to try. Once I get through the tutorial route, I expect to start to model a couple of mountain routes that will require some tight turns including +/- 180 degree turns, and I know the latter has to be done with more than one piece of (dynamic) track if I am climbing. Should be fun, or at least challenging. I experimented with the 67m radius 45 degree yard curves, the sharpest non-dynamic curves available, putting 2-4 together, but that does not work because they either start with a straight section or are factored. Thanks again!

The back-to-back 55-mph S-curves (one of only two speed-restricted curves on the Indianapolis Line!) just east of Rushsylvania, OH were not a pleasant experience (I had to use dynamic track for almost the whole thing). I had to rip the track out and relay it I don't know how many times to get the alignment right. I hope I never have to repeat the experience.
