Seaview underwater tunnels – image 3Here's a suggestion Bill, use these tunnel (scenery) objects for the underwater Seaview parts...I am having one problem with it though. Problem: The alpha color I am using keeps making parts of the tunnel invisible from the outside views....here's an example:Seaview underwater tunnels – image 4As you can see, the polygon covering the track has disapeared, and so has the 4 fartheset window panels on the opposite side....Take care!Kurt

RE: Seaview underwater tunnels.....

Kurt, that looks incredible. Very nicely done. I've been having a similar problem. Things that are not track, terrain, or bridge parts cannot be seen through some of them. I think its because of the class of the object, although I could be wrong. You might have to make it a track object to keep the transparency correct. Which means that you might have to make the height and width greater to keep from getting a forced cabview in it.Another problem you run into is that where one semi-transparent part meets or overlaps another in a few, you lose the transparency, it doubles up. Look at the bottom pic you posted. The fifth panel on the other side of the track, counting from the left. See how it's doubled up?

RE: Seaview underwater tunnels.....

Try experimenting with the "terrain object" setting in RE. It affects the transparency of some objects. It is in the properties window for a selected object.
