May-27-02, 10:22 AM (EDT) 1. "RE: REBUILD TRACK DATA BASE-ERROR" I had the same thing just yesterday. I fixed the problem by deleting the trackdatabse-files again , starting RE without them , going to the region where the rebuild-process hang up (use the coordinate-datas on top of your RE-Mainwindow) , and deleting the tracks there (about 100m around the "hang up point" , just to make sure to get the "error-track" with it) . Then I ran rebuild databse again , and it went through all tiles. Must have had a "bad" track in this region (don't have a clue why). Sure you need to relay some tracks but I'd say thats better than having no working route anymore. Maybe it works for you , too. C.S.

May-27-02, 03:52 PM (EDT) 2. "RE: REBUILD TRACK DATA BASE-ERROR" I've seen this once or twice. Somewhere on your route you will find a blue line sticking up, indicating the end of a track path, even though there is connecting track. Somehow, the .tdb and the world files have gotten out of synch. Last time I had this, I deleted all the track pieces on that tile, except for the offending one of course. Then I manually edited the world file and got rid of the entry for the bum track, then put the whole thing back together. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
