I have sent this off to David for testing on his machine(s), and if all goes well, this update will be available this weekend.I have added scenery in the area of Cobden, IL, in the southern section of the route. This update also features a couple of things that we believe to be firsts:

As im new to this route,discovered from v6,can i ask will the gap that shows in the tracklaying in the activity editor,be joined together at some point.regards,

Yep, those are indeed moving vehicles with lights There's still another small detail in the top screenshot, though The plan is indeed to join the gap between the two sections. That would definitely be the most enjoyable for everyone. It's a long way, though, but thankfully I think most of the scenery is farms and fields. . .troub

Yep, the wires on the poles I think the "smooth dip" you mention, smokewraith, is actually just an illusion caused by the way the track curves in that particular screenshot. Right near the camera is where the second track curves back into the mainline.David Klemm made the poles and wires, I made the cars. Right now there are only two, but I'm working on lots more. When I get several more made, I'll upload them in a separate pack for any route designer to use.troub

Right now the vehicles are only on the southern section. That is the City Of New Orleans by TA as she heads north on her way to Chicago. I've been taking pictures of my friends vehicles and we are working on replacing all the default vehicles in this route.David Klemm

Send Trouble the photos and deminsions of the vehicles, I bet he'd make them.The ones he has done already look cool going down the road. You can go into the activity editor and pull up the IC route there and see if it shows a broken path. If it does the fix is easy. I am perplexed because I put this update on 3 PC's without this problem.David Klemm

Heck, with all the stuff you've made to run on this route, I feel I owe you thanks. I think I have everything you've ever done and it adds a lot to the experiece.Well, I need to get back to the route, Dunkle to south side of Decatur is updated with a bunch of new clutter (signs etc) and car spawners. I'm now in working on Decatur and it is coming along very nicely.
