May-23-02, 04:16 PM (EDT) "About the shuttle..." As you probably know by now, I am planning on doing the 42nd street shuttle route. I still don't know if I should have it on the ground and do it soon, or underground/el and wait until the finished L2 comes out and I can use the El structure. Any opinions?John Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

May-24-02, 08:46 AM (EDT) 2. "RE: About the shuttle..." Well, personally I think it would be easier to lay it at ground level. You have to lay it at ground level anyway and then raise the terrain above it later for it to be underground. MSTS won't allow you to lay track below ground level, at least as far as I know it won't. So since you have to lay it above ground level initially anyway, I would say go with building the route above ground level since I think it would be alot easier on you. In the end though, it is your route. So you have to build it in a manner in which you will be happy with the end results. Good luck on the route and I look forward to seeing it as the work progresses once you get started. And most of all, have fun building it Good luck.
