May-12-02, 05:35 PM (EDT) "Oil Refinery Structures" This is my first attempt at 3d modelling and texturing. This is a set of structures used in a typical oil refinery. There are made to scale from some plans that I have. I am using TSM and Photoshop 6. These objects are in early construction stage.
I might upload them when they are completed. Thanks to Teemu Saukkonen for the "Tube Cars" which I modified to represents pipe that will be used in my complex. Note: HW used: ASUS board P4 1.7Ghz, .5GB RAMBUS ram, ASUS GEForce 3 64MB, Wacom Intuos2 graphic board, etc with WindowsXP Pro.Pipe Support

May-13-02, 11:19 AM (EDT) 4. "RE: Oil Refinery Structures" Looks great. A suggestion--If you decide to upload, I would recommend uploading the complete project. In addition, upload the component parts (e.g. valves, cracking towers, racks, etc) as a kind of construction kit so that others may use your basic components to build structures of their own design.Message Areas - "Oil Refinery Structures" – image 6
