May-03-02, 05:35 PM (EDT) 1. "RE: Is it possible? " Yes and no! It is possible to specify a starting TILE. By doing this, your actual start point will be in the center of the tile. To set the starting tile, go into RE and move to the area where you want to start. Write down the Latitude and Longitude. Exit RE and go into RGE. Open your route and load the quad tree. Zoom in and move the cursor until the Latitude and Longitude match the values you wrote down. Click that tile. Click on FILE and click set starting tile. Save and exit. The next time you go into RE and open your route, you should be in the center of the selected tile.

May-03-02, 05:38 PM (EDT) 2. "RE: Is it possible? " That worked when I did it, I wasn't right on my track, but at least It only took a sec to move over to the track. I allways got frustrated untill I figured out to do just as he explained.

May-03-02, 07:05 PM (EDT) 3. "RE: Is it possible? " You can edit the starting camera location in a file called myroute.trk where myroute is the folder name of your route in Wordpad.
look for the line RouteStart ( -xxxxx xxxxx xxx xxx ) where the first two numbers are the lattitude and longitude reference numbers of your starting tile and the second two numbers are the camera location on that tile.
Since you have already set the first two numbers using the route extractor you can change the second two numbers in Wordpad and have your starting location exactly where you want it.
As you can see, there are a host of other paramaters that can be changed as well.
