I think someone was working on the UP from Gibbon to North Platte.

" LAST EDITED ON Apr-30-02 AT 05:03 PM (EDT)Okay Newbie,Keep Reading, or start reading your help files.click on the help button in the upper right corner of the opening screen in the route editor for a start. then explore the tech docs on your MSTS CD. You'll be amazed at all the info you will find there.I'm not trying to be smart, just trying to save you some money before you get really involved in this venture. It's obvious you're trying to put your cart ahead of the horse. Whoa boy! after you get some of the basics down then it maight be worth a few dollars to get some of the manuals and tools that will help you do some serious route building. You've got to build the route before you can run any activities. That little red line in the RGE is only to help you select the tiles you will need to create your route map. It doesn't lay the track for you. You are going to have to become a true railroad engineer, not just a locomotive engineer.pennsyfan2 Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

" Well, I was working on the Kearney Sub from Gibbon to North Platte without any dems, but XTracks screwed up my track database and caused all my other routes to crash. So XTracks isn't on my computer anymore. Its a good program but has it's downsides. I may try to start it over again, but I've got BNSF's Kansas Division to get out of the way first.Austin S.
