Apr-16-02, 04:06 PM (EST) "Well Hi again how is everyone doing." What has been going on with the Extension? By the way I while I been out I took a Trip on the NEC from NYC to newport News,VA. I am creating or at least I was NEC 2 which extend across WAS into VA. I created at 11.58 miles of track but I soon got rid of it because I felt I was messing up wiht It. Well, right now we are working on redoing the trackwork to ensure it will work with the new NEC in the works by the NEC Track Team since nothing ever came of Amtrak12's NEC 3.0. We want it to ba able to work with the NEC Track Teams NEC which should be really accurate and also to make it compatible to the old Pennsylvania Railroad line being built from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh that Amtrak now uses. Amtrak, you should make anouncements about your projects only if you are intending to upload them. just a quick reply to your note to say that vinny is doing quite a bit of additional CSX trackage running parallel to the AMTRAK/PRR line thanks to a trackage atlas that we purchased. I won't say more now because vin should be the one to update you guys, but what he's doing with trackage is going to make the NEC route a real freight-going operation!Denny

"RE: Well Hi again how is everyone doing." im going to add my Two Cents Amtrak12 to be 100% Honest i have Lost total trust in you as well as Creditability you say one thing which Never happens at all you say your Doing this, that and all of the Above which you have Shown no Proof of what you claim, and Like George said if you really doing something give more updates on this Forum Post Screen Shots of your WorkI Like Many others working on the Northeast Corridor want to make it as Accurate as Possible As Denny said About the use of Track Atlases im Also getting one of those but for now im using a Few handy Resources such as Delorme TopoUSA for Marking Locations of Streets Accurately im also Using http://mapserver.maptech.com/ which is Also a Very useful Map which Shows Very detailed as well as the Actual Number of tracks in my Area, As well as Just about every siding which i have Proven to be Accurate since i Ride the R7 along the NEC to and From work, the map says there is a Siding when i Ride the train every siding on the map is Actually there.So if you are working on this Try to make it as Accurate as you can and Post Screen Shots once in a while Sorry if this seems to be a Lecture on you but im just not 100% Sure about you... Nothing Personal or anything like thatThis Goes to Everyone who is working on the NEC i thank all of you for your time in this Massive project and when it is Finally Complete im Sure Microsoft will be embarrassed that they Couldn't do it that way Bob
