Apr-11-02, 12:51 PM (EST) "Route Geometry Extractor" Hi,When I go into the route geometry extractor and select a region then zoom in and select an area, I then right click to try and press Add all Terain Tiles, of something similar, it is greyed out. Why is this?Thanks,Phil

Apr-11-02, 12:58 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Route Geometry Extractor" After starting up train simulator editor and tools, do a help, go to RGE and creating a route. The steps there are what I followed, as well as my 10 year old son, and they will walk you through things. My guess is you didn't hight light the area to make the tiles.David Klemm

I had the area highlighted and right-clicked, finding the same result as did the original poster of this thread.It worked fine at first, calling up a grid that allowed me to add tiles. Of 62 tiles selected, however, only two were created, then when attempting to Add Tiles, I found that it was greyed out and I was unable to do so. Whether I try a new route or edit an existing route, the RGE no longer permits me to create a grid.There's nothing in the Help files to address this bug.What gives? Has anyone else experienced this? Worked around it? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MSTS, only finding that this is a very tedious, time-consuming process that did nothing to resolve this issue. Apparently, there's an unwritten step involved, and one can read the Help files until steam again becomes the power of choice and they won't be of help in this issue.
