Apr-06-02, 03:38 PM (EST) "Help: Right hand curving dynamic track" Okay, first dumb question:
How do you make 'dynamic track' curve to the right, ie. a positive angle of curvature. The controls default to negative and will not go positive by any means I've been able to find.
Thank you for any helpful answers. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

You can use the T key to flip it end for end after you've created the desired curve (in the wrong direction, of course) but I find it a lot easier to just attach the new dynamic track section to the piece that will let me curve it to the left to make the desired connection. Apr-06-02, 04:26 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Help: Right hand curving dynamic track" T it is! And indeed it flips the track around, so the distant end and the nearby end are exchanged (that matters when you include a mix of curved and straight segments in a single dynamic track section).Be careful: if you want to adjust the radius, turn angle or length of some segment of the dynamic track section, first press T again to flip it back to its original orientation (otherwise it will detach from the previous track and become useless).Michael Vone

I wouldn't say the dynamic track becomes useless if you modify it without T first. Sometimes T doesn't work anyway, if the dynamic track is settled already. Use F3 and CTRL-mouse to move it towards an end of a track so it kisses it firmly and then do whatever you want with it. This works in 99% of cases, I'd say.
Cheers!
