Mar-29-02, 05:32 PM (EST) "Harrisburg Extension" Has anyone tried this out and if so how is it? The description makes it sound like its something like a developers addition. With Central Wisconsin, EMRR, OWV, the IC route, etc..., it has a pretty high standard to meet!GH Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-30-02, 11:07 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Harrisburg Extension" This Isn't a MSTS route. It's just the marker file. ?!?!
Should've probably been posted in the Misc folder instead of the route folder. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-30-02, 11:21 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Harrisburg Extension" The wise ass answer is that it should not be hard to do because the PRR was "the Standrad Railroad of the World!" The other routes should be judged up against it!!! The reality is that some of us are doing the PRR. The marker file to Harrisburg exists. terraforming has been done for the PRR mainline from the area of Tyrone to Harrisburg. I am looking for help laying track. I'll be posting the tiles some time next week. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-01-02, 10:08 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Harrisburg Extension" Hey, I just wanted to post an update to this. I had a really busy weekend since it was the Easter holiday. Because of the holiday I wasn't able to look up the coordinates for where the NEC extension ended for the Harrisburg line for your DEMing. I will get it for you tonight though and post the coordinates for you. I will also lay the tracks for you for the section from Philadelphia to Harrisburg in order to ensure that it is compatible with the NEC extension. It will be just tracks for right now though since we are focusing on trying to get to NYC. We will put in scenery later though. I think we will have to lay the track though or it may lead to problems with compatibility. Let me know if this sounds good to you and hopefully we can get both to work. Apr-01-02, 11:09 AM (EST) 4. "RE: Harrisburg Extension" Sounds good to me. I just just finished demming from Outside Altoona to Harrisburg and am now working on a marker file for teh route. I will post the material later this week pending the marking of the altoona route. The complexity of trade offs means I'll be simplying the yards in Harrisburg extensively. The central route I am working on will stay spearte because it had no eletrification. Ill start demming toward Philly tomorrow.
