For example, the shortest straight piece I think is 10m, or maybe it is 7m. With Dynamic you start off at 2m. Also allows you to make curves at any radius you want.David Klemm

Here is how it works, just so you don't have to figure it out too much. You have a 3.5m section of track to fill. If you put in you 7m piece, it overlaps, causing an error in the track database files if you try to run on your route. So you go and open up your objects menu, and choose Dynamic Track. You then place you dynamic track piece, then what? There is a window in the top of your route editor that is usually hidden for dynamic track. Open this window. You will see a start length, a middle length, and a end length. Just below that you will see first curve and second curve. Dynamic track only curves to the right, keep this in mid at all times when filling the gaps. If you enable the first curve, the radius will be 25, and the angle will be .010. What does this mean. If you have to curve the dynamic track to make it fit, adding to your middle length makes the curve longer. Adding more angle means that when your track connects to the end of the orther piece, if is is on an angle you will be able to line it up. I could go on for hours about this dynamic track, as could others. Keep this in mind. Play around with your other track pieces so that you only have to use the dynamic track piece as a straight line piece. If you put too much curve in it, or the angle on the end isn't correct, you trail will derail. Many other people will say it is easy to use, I am one of them, as long as you know how to use it.Have fun and do brakestands.Loose Cannon 17 Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
