Mar-18-02, 09:15 AM (EST) "Seagulls, and Beach with Small Waves Sounds" I just uploaded a couple sound sources, which are placed with he object selector. The first is fairly random seagull squawks, from 1 bird to a group. 2nd is small waves on a rocky beach. These should go great with Captain Bazza's ships! If you have a garbage dump, the seagulls can feast!Steve Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-18-02, 12:00 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Seagulls, and Beach with Small Waves Sounds" Great Steve! Both of those will fit nicely into Sea View 2. I have used the animated sea gulls, but they are silent. The wave sounds will go great with the animated water (AWE) Ron Spalding is developing. Thanks!

Mar-18-02, 12:54 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Seagulls, and Beach with Small Waves Sounds" I'll see what I can come up with! I've got a great foghorn, but unless it could be tied to Sky Conductor and Fog, it could be pretty wrong! Blue skies and fog horns really don't go together. I can't think of any way to selectively trigger it. I've also got good heavy ocean surf, but not edited and ready yet. I have seagulls, but not animated, where'd you get them?Another loop I'll put together is a distant steam switcher kicking cars in a yard. To avoid too much repetition of sounds, the file will be big. I've found that as long as I space the sounds out with total silence in between, although the wave file is big, the zipped file is small. They do take a chunk of hard drive when unzipped though! Steve Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-18-02, 02:22 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Seagulls, and Beach with Small Waves Sounds" Steve,The seagulls were downloaded from http://www.uktrainsim.com/. They fly in clockwise circles. A few here and there look great. Too many don't look natural to me because, of course, they are all moving in identical patterns. Will be happy to email them to you when I get home.Bill Burnett Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
