It's not completely done but it's close enough for Beta. I expect release will be one week after beta starts. This will allow last minute objects to be added, industries to be named, stations to be named, town names to be solidified, etc.I know there's alot of expectations for this route so let me explain how this works. The package will be made available in sections. This will help bring down the file size so I can make updates available as I make changes to the route. The route will have... NO cars on it. That's not to say there will never be cars on it. Cars will be released in the next version of the route. Here's how it will work, if I can get it to work. There will be batch file you select which kind of cars you want to add. If you choose to run modern equipment on the route, choose modern cars. If you choose to run steam-transition diesels, you choose that option. The batch file will copy the cars into the route so you don't get like the Metro does, modern cars with transition era diesels or steam. Remember, cars are not in the first release.Next, I will make the beta available for just a few people. The only reason there is a beta is so Jason Roberts can see the route so he can tell me the names of the industries. If the beta is slow getting to release... it's HIS fault!! Just a little pressure on ya Jason! More blackmail from the blackmail king. Keep on 'em folks! While he's doing that I'll be fixing up minor details and adding a cement plant and the manual which will only include route maps. Nothing fancy this time around.Eventually, when all things are satisfied, the next release of the route will pretty things up, be more schnazy and all that other good stuff, including the car thing.Ok, why I am telling you all this? Real simple. My wife is fixing my lunch and I have time to kill. Rich Garber Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

(dont worry,I'll be working on some of those as soon as I figure out the eccentricities of 3D-modeling....working on a large prototypical Open Hearth furnace building with a "clamshell" ventilated roof in the mean time.)Longhairedwizard Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
