The 30th Street Station yard on the NEC Extension is a really complex yard since it is one of Amtraks main switching areas on the NEC. No activities have been created for the NEC extension yet though since I don't know how to create activities and have not had a whole lot of luck at making them. If you want to try creating an activity for it however, it has 29 tracks going through it if I remember right. So it should make for some interesting switching activities if you are interested in trying it. Plus since it is a major passenger depot for Amtrak, you could make some passenger switching activities to go with the freight activities that are already out there for other routes. The activity starting in the town of Sundermeyer would appeal only to switching fanatics, with an AI train running down the center track every 10 minutes I haven't been able to classify and assemble a train using all 49 cars in town in less than 2 hours.

The only available runaround track consists of the yard ladder to the South and the player main to the North. To get from one to the other requires crossing over the center track, which is the AI main and has through freights running down it every 10 minutes.Message Areas - "Routes with complex yards and yard activities?" – image 2
Blocking the AI traffic is considered bad form, do it for more than a couple minutes and the ones behind him will start to stack up, costing you more time later on waiting for the parade to go by.Here's a thread explaining how the signals and AI traffic work if you want to make different activities;
