Feb-22-02, 04:25 PM (EST) "Does anybody know..." I thought I recall seeing someone had done a shell chemical storage tank but I don't see anything like it in the uploads. Round like a baseball. I'd like to add a chemcial plant to the route. Does anybody know if we have an object that looks like a chemical storage tank? Also, does anybody have a picture of a chemical plant? I'm sure I can probably dig some up for ya rich, what kind of chemical plant did ya have in mind?PS- To any Object designers who may be listening we could sure you a spherical gas storage tank. They're not chemical tanks. Here's a couple shots of a chemical plant in Marietta, (actually, Elizebeth) Ga.
Sorry the pictures are so blue. I had the camera set for indoor. Duh!
I had just bought my new digital camera, and, at the time, I was still trying to figure it out. Through practice, I've almost mastered it.

It could be kitbashed, look better if we had a designated chemical object. Is there only one set of tracks going into the place? Incoming supply by rail and then export by truck? Just curious why I only see one set of tracks.Another interesting thing in that pic is why that signal is placed where it is. It's a small plant, that's why there's only one track. I guess the signal is where it is, because it's a mainline. There's other switches on the other end. I didn't take any pics of the other end. The chemical plant wasn't over there.
Next time I'm in Marietta, I'll get some better shots. I might try to make it down there tomorrow.

Ash Grove recently completed their new 'cement storage dome'. Don't recall how many bazillion pounds of rebar and material it took. It would be right in the same catagory as a chemical tank.
