Feb-22-02, 02:53 AM (EST) "New route buildings gone" Hi, I have created a new route with MSTS, by using "Route Geometry Extractor". And now I have my huge expanse of flat land like I wanted. But the list of "buildings" that I can use is not there, as well as a couple of the other scenery type that are available on the other routes like Settle and Marias are non existant in my new Route.Do I need to copy some files to the new route directory or what? Please helpThanks.Donald. You need to copy those files into your new route and also update the reference file for your new route (it ends in " .ref" ).There is a utility in our file library to move all the files into your new route for you, and it has a new reference file for you to rename and use. Seems like EVERYONE has the same problem you have - and a generous programer did something about it for free.Look for a file called combstuff.zip and your problems will be solved. Now if only I could figure out what a "Marker" is, I might be able to build a route myself! Good luck - there are plenty of folks in the forum who can elaborate better than I.Mark

Click on that to download it directly, save you hunting thru the file library while everyone is trying to download Seaview. Don't forget to read the RouteEditor.txt file, which explains how to use it. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
